Since 1983, Paris Brothers has grown through innovation and continually evolving services and offerings by listening to customers needs, understanding their objectives and providing services that support their goals. Today, Paris Brothers is made up of several vertically integrated operations that provide best-in-class products and services in each of the areas we operate:

It All Started with A Bag of Popcorn

In 1983, the Paris brothers started their entrepreneurial endeavors by opening a small, wholesale popcorn company, Sally Jo’s Popcorn. Sally Jo’s was one of the first of its kind in Kansas City, distributing gourmet popcorn to area restaurants and clubs for appetizers services. As the business grew, so did the expansion of products and services offered, from ingredient items to other finished goods.

In 1991, service innovations led us to develop a niche company for specialty foods, Paris Poultry. A result of discovering a unmet needs in the market, Paris Poultry provided a full-scale processing operation, supplying customized high quality poultry products to foodservice establishments and distributors.

In 2000, our successes in streamlining the manufacturing and distribution of specialty food products caught the attention of other suppliers and once again our business innovated. Warehousing, distribution and full 3PL services became core services from Paris Brothers and our sister company Ground Freight Expeditors.

In 2005, we launched specialized services in the specialty coffee segment, opening the nations only OCIA-certified, climate-controlled specialty coffee warehouse facility, with the later additions of manufacturing services for roasting, blending and packaging.

If there’s a common thread to history and portfolio of services, it’s been a focus on innovating to satisfy customer needs, both in service and products, with every significant evolution,resulting in synergy with everything else we do.
